a thank you
If I had a lovely picture that expresses my gratitude, I would, but I'm at work & just really wanted to get this out ~ THANK YOU! Thank you to my mom, to Jerusalem, to Jeanetta, to Melissa for all your encouragement & support. And to Tanya, who was on the phone with me for 2 hours last night while she talked me down from my metaphorical ledge. She saved me, and helped me to see things in a new perspective. I feel like I am seeing more clearly today than I have in a long time, or at least since I became pregnant. There's no way I could get through this without the help of my wonderful friends ~ even Melissa, who may be a total stranger, but who has been so sweet with her comments. While I don't want to be a drain on my family & friends, it's nice to know that when I need help, all I have to do is ask.

well of course thats whywe are called friends... so you can unload all the crap and we say it will all be ok.
glad you are doing better. :)
Once again.... listen to Jeanetta! Tracy, we all have our down times, our dark times. We wouldn't be human beings if we didn't. Let these be life lessons and learn from them and then move on to something better. I'm glad today's a good day. I hope you have so many more good days. You deserve them. mom
Hey Girl, I am so glad I could help. It breaks my heart to think of you as unhappy and will always do whatever I can to fix it.
I re-read all of your blogs this evening; I had never read the one about when you were down here last-it made me feel good about our friendship and I thought about how it has evolved over these years. Hard to believe we've been friends for 15 years! Neither one of us are that old, are we? :)
You are my greatest friend- unconditionally-and I look forward to many more years of providing love, support, advice, insight, whatever you need.
This is one of the most exciting times of your life, don't diminish it by comparing yourself to others and thinking about how you "should" be/act/think/feel. It's all about your unique beautiful experience and for better or for worse, you will never forget this time. Nor should you...
Listen to all these wise women my friend! You can not EVER compare yourself to others - espeically in the pregnant/motherhood/life stuff. We are all just too different, and too unique to be compared to anyone else : ) As long as you are being authentically you, then it is all OK. You are beautiful inside and out chica!
I agree with these women and all of their advice. Don't put too much pressure on yourself right now. Understand that your emotions are going to be really strong, up and down for a long time to come! I've been there, three times, plus a miscarriage at 9 weeks so I know how it feels to be an emotional train wreck and not feel normal! :-)
Turn to your friends when you need some perspective! That is what friends are for.
Very sweet of you to include me in your list of friends...
Take care,
xo,
Melissa
